The washer shall be disconnected from its power source during service and when replacing parts. If the removal of plug is
foreseen, it shall be clearly indicated that the removal of the plug has to be such that an operator can check from any of the
points to which they have access that the plug remains removed.
If this is not possible, due to the construction of the washer or its installation, a disconnection with a locking system in the
isolated position shall be provided.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fi re, electric shock, or injury to persons when using the washer, follow basic precautions, including the
following:
n Read all instructions before using the washer.
n Under certain conditions, hydrogen gas may be produced in a
hot water system that has not been used for 2 weeks or more.
HYDROGEN GAS IS EXPLOSIVE. If the hot water system has
not been used for such a period, before using the washer, turn
on all hot water faucets and let the water fl ow from each for
several minutes. This will release any accumulated hydrogen
gas. As the gas is fl ammable, do not smoke or use an open
fl ame during this time.
n Before the washer is removed from service or discarded,
remove the door or lid.
n Do not install or store the washer where it will be exposed to
the weather.
n Do not repair or replace any part of the washer or attempt any
servicing unless specifi cally recommended in this manual or
in published user-repair instructions that you understand and
have the skills to carry out.
n Do not wash or dry articles that have been previously cleaned
in, washed in, soaked in, or spotted with petrol, dry-cleaning
solvents, other fl ammable, or explosive substances as they
give off vapors that could ignite or explode.
n Do not add gasoline, dry-cleaning solvents or other fl ammable,
or explosive substances o the wash water. These substances
give off vapors that could ignite or explode.

n Do not allow children to play on or in the washer. Close
supervision of children is necessary when the washer is used
near children. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by children without supervision. Children of less than 3 years
should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
n To pause/stop a wash cycle, hold the STOP/PAUSE button for
approximately 2 seconds until the machine enters the pause/
stop state.
n This appliance is intended, but not limited, to be used in public
areas.
n This washer/dryer is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the dryer by a
person responsible for their safety.
n Do not reach into the washer if the tub, agitator, or drum is
moving.
n The appliance must be disconnected from its power source
during service and when replacing parts.
n Do not tamper with controls.
n If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualifi ed persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
n Fabric softeners, or similar products, should be used as
specifi ed by the fabric softener instructions.
