Enjoying sound from a guitar
You can listen to sound from your guitar by connecting it to the MIC2/GUITAR jack (Φ 6.3 mm) on the speaker. By
connecting an external microphone to the MIC1 jack (Φ 6.3 mm) on the speaker, you can play the guitar and sing along
as well.
Turn the MIC and GUITAR level knob toward MIN to turn down the guitar volume.

Connect the guitar to the MIC2/GUITAR jack on the rear side of the speaker with an instrument cable for

guitar wiring (commercially available).
Press the GUITAR button on the rear side of the speaker.

The GUITAR indicator lights in white.
Adjust the guitar volume while playing the guitar.

The guitar sound is output from the speaker.
To bring the speaker out of guitar mode
Press the GUITAR button on the rear side of the speaker once again.
Note
Before disconnecting the guitar from the speaker, turn the MIC and GUITAR level knob toward "MIN" to turn down the guitar
volume.
While a microphone or a guitar is connected to the speaker, the Auto Standby function is turned off.
Do not use the MIC2/GUITAR jack in places where the speaker is likely to have water splashed on it. The supplied AC power
cord (mains lead) as well as the jacks and ports (AC IN/USB/AUDIO IN/MIC/GUITAR) behind the cap are not designed for water
resistant.
