P Program AE
AF point
Like <r-q> (Full Auto) mode, this is a
general-purpose shooting mode. The
camera automatically sets the shutter
speed and aperture value to suit the
subject's brightness. This is called
Program AE.
* <P> stands for Program
* AE stands for Auto Exposure
_'!I Set the Mode Dial to
<P>.
'_,_ Focus the subject,
_ Look through the viewfinder and aim
any AF point over the subject. Then
press the shutter button halfway.
Shutter speed
Aperture
_ Check the display.
_ The shutter speed and aperture value
will be set automatically and
displayed in the viewfinder and on the
LCD panel.
_ A correct exposure will be obtained
as long as the shutter speed and
aperture value display do not blink.
Take the picture.
_ Compose the shot and press the
shutter button completely.
