Power Switch
The camera can operate only after the <@>
switch is turned on.

_,_To save battery power, the camera turns off automatically after I minute of
non-operation. To turn on the camera again, just press the shutter button.

> switch to <OFF > whilethe capturedimagesare beingrecorded
ontothe CF card, the remainingnumberofcaptured imagesto be recordedwillbe
indicated on the top LCD panelwiththe numberof <11>.When allthe imagesare
finished recording, the display wi!! turn off and the camera will turn off.
Shutter
Button
The shutter button has two steps. You can press the shutter button
halfway. Then you can further press the shutter button completely.
Pressing
halfway
This activates autofocusing
(AF) and
automatic exposure (AE) that sets the
shutter speed and aperture.
The exposure setting (shutter speed and
aperture) is displayed on the top LCD
panel and in the viewfinder. ((_4)
Pressing
completely
This releases the shutter and takes the
picture.
