Selecting stored stations
with the station buttons
@ Select the range (press buttons briefly) with
RDS button @9, TP button 43, FM button @ or
AM button @?.
~ After pressing one of these butions, the last sta-
tion tuned to in this waveband will be heard
(last-station memory).
@ Press the appropriate station button
— The display @ will show the station abbrevia-
tion or the frequency and the number of the sta-
tion button selected.
Cassette operation
Tape cassettes are subject to high thermal stress
when used in a car radio.
You should therefore only use good-quality C 60
and C 90 cassettes.
@ Tape type (Cr/CD) button ©
for switching between:
~ Me ____ metal tape (IEC type IV)
Cr______ chromium dioxide tape (IEC type II)
FeCr____ ferrochrome tape (IEC type III)

@ Dolby NR button (00 B/C) @ (stepping button)
for switching from:

Playback
@ Push cassette into cassette compartment @)
with the open edge to the right until it clicks into
position.
— The unit will now switch to cassette operation.
@ To change the tape direction, press the reverse
button va @3 (reverse operation). The tape di-
rection is automatically reversed at the end of
the tape (auto-reverse operation).
— Tape direction TAPE
