the station abbreviation instead of the fre-
quency in the display @@. Brief frequency in-

Station search sensitivity
3-stage automatic sensitivity switch-over:
Briefly press station search rocker button @.
The station search stops ...
— on the 1st traverse (in the whole of the frequen-
cy range), only at very strong stations (nearby
stations).
— on the 2nd traverse, at all strong stations and
— on the 3rd traverse, at all stations capable of
reception (nearby and remote stations) ;
DX appears in display
If you want to listen to a different station, press
the station search rocker button @ again. — On
the 2nd and 3rd traverses within approx. 60 sec-
onds, as otherwise the station search sensitivity
will be the same as on the Ist traverse.
Selecting highest sensitivity directly
Press the station search rocker 45 button until DX
appears in display @@: The station search stops at
all station capable of reception (nearby and re-
mote stations).
Automatic frequency comparison
Auto-Compare - If the station tuned to by means
of the station search has already been allocated to
one of the station buttons 49, display 4 will show:
Range and memory position (eg: Ul or K 6).
