@) LOUD button
~ Button locked in: improves the sound im-
pression at low volume.
~ On SCV operation, the button should also
be locked in.
© Tape type (Cr/CD) button
— Functions as tape type button on cassette
operation: switches between Me, Cr and
FeCr fape (Cr shown in display @) and Fe
tape.
— Functions as CD button on radio operation:
switches between CD playback (CD shown
in display 48) and radio operation.
@ DOLBY NR (OU B/C) (stepping button)
— For switching from Dolby NR OFF > Dolby
B NR — Dolby C NR-> Dolby NR OFF, etc.
Lock for removable operating section
@ Cassette compartment
— Insert the cassette with the open edge to the
right. The unit is switched to cassette opera-
tion.
RDS button with illuminated indicator
(Radio-Data System)
~ Press briefly:
You receive specifically
"VHF stations with RDS" ;
display @ shows RDS.
— Press for more than 2 seconds:
The RDS-LEARN memory will be allocated;
you will hear the strongest
"VHE station with RDS".
@ Standby button (6)
— Press during cassette or CD operation:
The unit switches for approx. 3 seconds to
radio operation.
