The telephone makes various directories available. The directories can be accessed via the
display on the registered handsets and the web user interface.
Local directory

Contacts on the handset

Open the directory
Local directory:
Centralised telephone book:
The entries are shown in alphabetical order by last name by default. The sorting order
can be changed.
Setting the order of the directory entries
Directory entries can be sorted by first name or surname.
Open the directory
If no name was entered, the default telephone number is shown in the surname field. These
entries appear at the beginning of the list, regardless of how the entries are sorted.
The sorting order is as follows:
Space | Digits (0-9) | Letters (alphabetical) | Other characters.
Searching for and viewing a contact
Scroll to the required contact
or:
Enter the first few letters of the first or last name . . . As soon as entries are found
that match the input, they are displayed
View the contents of the entry:

Directories

Directory for registered handsets.
Shared directory for the base station, available on all HX handsets.
It can be edited on the handsets and in the web user interface.
Directories made available via other providers, e.g. Google contacts
or Microsoft Office. Access to these directories must be set up and
released in the web user interface.
