  • Page 12 Inserting the batteries Only use rechargeable batteries otherwise major health risks and injury may result. For example, the outer casing of the batteries could be damaged beyond repair or the batteries could explode. The device could also malfunction or be damaged as a result of using batteries that are not of the recommended type.
  • Page 13 Charging the batteries Charge the batteries fully prior to first use in the charging cradle. The batteries are fully charged when the power icon disappears from the display. Batteries can heat up during the charge process. This is not dangerous. Over time, the charging capacity of the batteries will decrease for technical reasons.

Radiation is disabled completely when the base station and handsets are in idle mode. The wireless connection is only established automatically for incoming and outgoing calls.     Audio Audio Voice quality The voice quality for VoIP calls depends primarily on the codec used for the transfer and the available bandwidth of the network connection. A "better" codec (better voice quality) means more data needs to be transferred, i.e. it requires a network connection with a larger bandwidth. You can change the tone quality by selecting the voice codecs your telephone should use and specifying the order in which the codecs are suggested when a VoIP connection is set up.
