In the field, the ambient temperature may change suddenly. Under such conditions,
accurate reference junction compensation can be ensured by closing the flap on top of
the terminal panel during use.
The instrument is shipped complete with a connecting cable for a type K thermocouple.
Connect the miniature connector on the cable to the terminals according to the polarity
shown.
