Errors and Faults
Fault
Thread breakage
The machine doesn't sew

Cause
Threading is incorrect.
The needle is bent.
The thread tension is incorrect.
The upper thread is tangled.
Retractable thread stand is not
fully extended.
No power supply.
The main power switch is
switched off.
Machine is overheated.
Switched off in default setting.
The sewing light is defect.
Knife tainted.
Knife defective.
The presser foot pressure is
incorrect.
Solution
> Rethread the machine. (see page 78)
> Insert a new needle. (see page 41)
> Adjust the thread tension. (see page 78)
> Check the thread spool. (see page 35)
> Raise the retractable thread stand completely. (see
page 35)
> Connect the machine. (see page 34)
> Switch on the machine. (see page 34)
> Switch off the machine and let it cool down for 10 - 15
min. (see page 34)
Switch on the sewing light in the setup program. (see
page 50)
Have the sewing light replaced by the specialized dealer.
> Set the cutting width to 9.
> Remove lint and remnants from the knife.
