PIP = Picture-In-Picture
Think of PIP as a mini ll/ screen superimposed
onto your main TV screen
Press PIP on the remote to place the PIP inset on the screen, press PIP again to remove it

The Picture-In-Picture
(PIP) function
aLLows you to put a smaLLer
picture,
caLLed the "inset,"
on the bigger screen, or the "main"
picture.
You wiLL need to have another source, (audio/video
device con-
nected to the TV) Like a VCR; to use as a source to display an
additional
picture.
Don't want to miss any of the big game, but hate commercials?
When the broadcaster
breaks for a commercial, just tune the VCR
to the channel
with the game being broadcast for the PIP inset,
and Surf your favorite
channels on the main picture screen.

WITH
PIP
Just Like your Entertainment
Machine's main screen, PIP will need
a source to take its image from.
PIP Sources
Antenna/CabLe,
Video 1, Video 2, F Video. S-Video sources can
also be used for the PIP picture.

SETUPS
1. You want to watch a videotape,
but keep scanning for another
movie or game. Set the PIP source to Video i, or 2 and you can
watch the VCR and TV, swapping
between the two.
2. You want to watch your favorite
Live program on Antenna
on
the main screen and when a commercial break appears, swap to
the PIP inset; which has a videotape
in the VCR ready to play, or
Surf your favorite
channels using the Antenna source for the PIP
inset.
3. To monitor
an infant
asleep, connect
a camcorder to F Video
for the PIP source and watch a TV channel from the
Antenna/Cable
source on the main picture screen.

Use the Source Menu to choose Main screen and PIP sources. Some
sources are not available for PIP and cannot be swapped from the
main screen to the PIP inset. See the Source menu page for details.
