Some device sub-systems have own power management ~
capability which is controlled by device time-out value as follows
"during AC andor batiery operation. In order to conserve batiery
Power each device has a time-out value which is specified by
SETUP program.
'When the timer has expired the device goes into power down
mode. In stanchby mode all available devices go to power down
mode to minimrize the power consumption. .
-Hard disk drive ~ ~ 11min, off
-CD-ROM drive 21 min, off ,
-Auto stand-by . 11min, 2 min, off
-Auto Hibemation/Suspend :4 min, 16 min, off
Each timers. reset by following conditions.
-Hard disk drive
shard disk access
-CD-ROM drive
:CD-ROM access
-Auto stand-by
:keyboard, mouse, serial, Ir, pevalel
or FDD/HDD acoess, LCD open/close
-Auto HibematioSuspend
'keyboard, mouse, serial, Ir, parallel
or FDD/HDD access, LCD open/close
Each device goes into normal mode by the following conditions,
~Hard disk drive
Auto stndby
skeyboard, mouse, serial, Ir, parallel
or FDD/HDD access, LCD open/close, AC in, power switch
Auto Hibemation/Suspend

6.3 Low Voltage Waming
BATT LED is tumed red, when the remaining battery capacity is
approx. 9% or less. Beeping starts at last approx. 4% or less.
The system will try to save all necessary information (resuming
function). Itis possible to resume the last operation by pressing
the power button again after changing the battery or connecting
the AC adapter.

APM Rev.1.2 is supported by BIOS.
APM software interface is used by Windows 95.
