Safety information
NOTICE
Spot remover, paint thinner, solvents, gaso-
line or similar can damage the convertible
top or the rubber seals. There is a risk of
damage to property. To remove spots on
the convertible top, use only suitable cleaning
agents, for instance special convertible top
cleaning agent.
Cleaning the convertible top
To remove heavy contamination, especially for
light colored convertible tops, use a special
convertible top cleaning agent.
Proceed as follows when cleaning:
1.
Spray the convertible top with the
convertible top cleaning agent. Follow the
manufacturer's instructions.
2.
Make the convertible top cleaning agent
foam up using a well saturated sponge,
moving it in circular motions.
3.
Rinse vehicle with ample amounts of wa-
ter or finish washing the vehicle in the car
wash. Follow notes regarding automatic
car washes.
Treat the convertible top with an impregnating
agent after it has been washed three to five
times.
Suitable cleaners and vehicle care products
are available from an authorized service cen-
ter or another qualified service center or repair
shop.
Leather care
Particles of dust and road grime rub into pores
and folds, causing heavy abrasion and prema-
ture degradation of the leather surface.
Remove dust from the leather regularly, using
a cloth or vacuum cleaner.

To guard against discoloration such as from
clothing, clean leather and provide leather care
roughly every two months.
Clean light-colored leather more frequently be-
cause contamination on such surfaces is sub-
stantially more visible.
Use leather care products; otherwise, dirt and
grease will gradually break down the protective
coating of the leather surface.
Synthetic leather care
Clean synthetic leather regularly with a damp
microfiber cloth or vacuum cleaner.
Otherwise, dust and road grime particles will
rub into pores and folds, causing significant
abrasion and premature degradation of the
surface.
In case of major soiling, use a moist soft
sponge or microfiber cloth with suitable interior
cleaners.
Immediately remove aggressive substances
such as sunscreen to prevent the synthetic
leather from being altered or discolored.
Fabric care
General information
In case of major contaminations such as bev-
erage stains, use a moist soft sponge or micro-
fiber cloth with a suitable interior cleaners.
Immediately remove aggressive substances,
e.g., sunscreen, to prevent alterations or dis-
colorations of the fabric.
Safety information
NOTICE
Open hook and loop fasteners on articles of
clothing can damage the seat covers and
other cloth upholstery in the vehicle. There is
a risk of damage to property. Ensure that any
Velcro® fasteners are closed.
