Listening to Compact Discs , c o„. , „ u«<,
Use this function while playing a disc to search rapidly forward or
backward for specific sections.
While watching the track and time displays, press
and hold one of the search buttons. Release the
button when the desired point has been reached.

: Press and hold this button to search forward.

: Press and hold this button to search backward.
•At first, the pickup will move slowly, then, if the button is kept
depressed, will move quickly.
•The volume level will drop to about V4 of normal.
•During program play and random play, search will take place
within the track being played.
This function can also be performed from the remote control. Follow
the procedure described below.
Use this function to skip to the beginning of tracks preceding or
following the track in play and begins play immediately.
Press the forward or backward skip button mo¬
mentarily until the desired track has been located.

: Press this button to skip fonward.
The pickup will skip as many tracks as the number of
times the button is pressed.

: Press this button to skip backward.
Pressing this button once will cause the pickup to move
to the beginning of the track being played.
•If these buttons are pressed during program play, the pickup will
skip from one track to another in the programmed sequence.
Pickup:
The pickup is a laser device that reads the information on the disc
surface. The pickup moves across the disc as the disc is played, but
it is not visible from outside the cabinet.
Note:
During random play, it is not possible to skip to the previous track.
