System! This unit is different from conventional cordless telephones. When the base unit is connected to AC power and a telephone line, it can support up to four handsets. - Page 20 Distinctive Ringer Setup Distinctive Ringer allows you to assign a designated ring tone to a stored phonebook number. When a call is received and the Caller ID information matches the information in one of the phonebook memory entries, the phone uses the distinctive ring assigned to that particular caller.

The Integrated Telephone Answering Device The phone has a built-in answering system that answers and records incoming calls.
