CHILD SAFETY
Always keep dishwasher detergent out of the reach
of children. Keep it in a safe place, wipe away any
spillage immediately and never leave the door open
with detergent in the machine. If you have small.
children in the house - even if only temporarily - set
the door lock to the childproof position (see below).
If someone swallows dishwashear detergent he

or she should immediately drink several glasses
of milk or water. Do not induce vomiting. Seek
medical advice.
If someone gets dishwasher detergent in their eyes,
bathe immediately in plenty of water. Seek medical
advice.
There is a red screw at the upper edge of the door.
Set this to the position shown in the picture if you
want the safety catch on the door to operate. The
handle will then have to be pushed to the right and
up before the door will open. Simple for adults but
not so easy for children.
HEAT WARNING
A safety switch in the door lock stops the machine if
you
open
the door while
a programme
is in
progress.
If you
do
interrupt
a programme,
remember that the fittings and the items being
washed
may
be
hot,
particularly
in
a
65°C
pae
programme.
If you have to open the door while a programme is
in progress, proceed as follows:
Turn off the main switch. Open the door. When you
close
the door
again, wait
ten
seconds
before
pressing the main switch.
If you have an open outlet
- e.g. the hose
discharging into a sink - you should also take
care when the machine is emptying the hot waste
water.
