TAPE RECORDING
Recording CDs
. Press the Tape function button.
. Load a tape for recording in Tape I, and close the deck door.
. Press the TAPE-PLAY/DIR button, select the tape direction
in which you want to record, and press the STOP button.
Recording starts in the tape direction indicated by the lit
arrow mark in the display.

4. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button, and load a disc.
5. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button.
6. Select the disc you want to record with the DISC select
buttons (1-3) or press the DISC CHANGE button.
7. Press the CD-PLAY/PAUSE button before play starts.
CD play switches to pause.
in Step 6, when selecting a disc by pressing the DISC CHANGE
button, playback does not start unless you press the START
button.
(If you select a CD track using the and buttons,
recording starts from that track. If you do not select a track,
recording starts from the first track.)
8. Press the REC START/STOP button.
Recording starts.
9. Press the CD-PLAY/PAUSE button.
The CD starts playing.
10.To stop recording, press the REC START/STOP button or
the STOP button.
(If you press the STOP (m) button on the main unit, CD play
stops, but recording continues.)

During recording, the SOUND FIELD CONTROL and P.BASS
functions do not operate.
