SOUND
SCAPE
Operation
The SOUND SCAPE function plays background of fill-in sounds
on the built-in CD player (sub-source) during playback on the
tuner, multi-CD player or AUX source. Most users choose to play
music on the main source accompanied by sound effects from the
supplied sound-effect CD or one of the commercially available CD
software products containing sound effects.
SOUND SCAPE Modes
There are three SOUND SCAPE modes:
Music Mode
The same track is played repeatedly on the built-in CD player
during main source playback.
Blank-Mode
Available only with a multi-CD player as the main source, this
mode allows a sub-source sound effect to fade in between tracks or
during pauses in playback on the main source. It may not function
if the interval between tracks is too short.
Program Mode
Available only with a multi-CD player as the main source, this
mode permits programming of a different sub-source sound effect
for every track. The multi-CD player may not initiate playback
from the beginning of a track during Scan or ITS playback.
