Changing the password
To do this, first and foremost, you have to access the Advanced OSD menu (see

2. Select Change Password and press OK to display the Input Current Password window.

3. Use the arrow keys on the projector or remote control to enter the old password.
If the password is correct, the Input New Password window displays.
If the password is incorrect, the error message displays, and the Input Current Password
window displays for your retry. You can either try another password or press BACK to cancel
the change.
4. Enter a new password.
5. Re-enter the same password to verify.
Do make a note of your password, and then keep the note in a safe place for later recall.
6. You have successfully set a new password. Remember to enter the new password next time you turn
on the projector.
7. Press BACK to save your changes and exit.
Disabling the password function
To do this, first and foremost, you have to access the Advanced OSD menu (see

2. Select Power On Lock and use

If the password is correct, the Password window displays that Power On Lock is Off. You will
not be asked to enter the password next time when turning on the projector.
If the password is incorrect, the password error message displays, and then the Input Current
Password window displays for your retry. You can either try another password or press
BACK to cancel the change.
4. Press BACK to save your changes and exit.
Though the password function is disabled, you need to keep a note of the old password in case you ever need
to re-activate the password function by entering the old password.
