Slroukl you wish to purchase the accessory phase contact

HEART RATE TRANSMITTER
If you wart to measure your pulse telemctncalty during your
wcrkcut start by attaching the elastic belt to the pulse
transmitter.
Moisten tua grooved electrodes on the transmitter ben with
saliva or water. If you wear the transmitter and belt ever a
light shirt, moisten the shirt slightly at tie points where tne
o!root rod os touch tho shirt.
Faster the transmitter just Deiow the chest frmly enough so
that the electrodes remain in contact with the skin whle
turning, but not so tght that normal Dreaming is prevented.
NOTE! If the electrode surfaces are not moist, the pulse
reading will rot appear on the display. II the electrodes a~e
dry, moisten them again. It is also important to allow the
a/ectrodes to warm up properly (o ensure accurate pulse
measurement.
The transmitter automatically transmits the pulse reeding to
the meter up fo a distance of about 1 m. Display will shew
pulse wlien the small light is on next to tie PULSE text. The
light flashes m trro with tho user's heartbeat, if thoro aro
severe teiemetrlc pulse measurement devices next In each
other, the distance between them should be at least 1.5 n.
Ttm transmitter Is swltcneo to an active state only when ft is
bong used lor measurement. Swoat and other moisture
can. however, keep the transmitter in an active state and
waste battery energy. Therefore It is important to dry the
electrodes carefjiy alter use.
ADJUSTMENTS
Mender belt tracking during exercise and make aeij<i«morfc
as needed (described below).
ALIGNING THE RUNNING BELT
The running belt should remain cent&edon theJ 661 Fat all
times. Normally when the unit Is in the boriziontal position
aria the belt properly tightened the belt will stay in the
middle. It a, however, possible for tho belt to be pushed ;o
one. side die to tne user's running style (eg. mom weight cn
one foot). The alignment of the belt Is adjusted by turning the
two bolts at the back of the treadmill. Proceed then as
follows:

Turn the power switch on and increase the
treadmill's speed to 5 km/h (3 mph).

bo.* 1/8 turn clockwise and the rght
adjustment tolt 1/8 turn anticlockwise.

If the belt drfts to the right, turn the right
adjustment bolt 1/8 turn clockwise and the lett
adjustment bolt 1/8 turn enticlodrw.se
Do not turn more than 1/8 at the turn as already
uey small adjustments effect the alignment.

If the boll remains central,sod tho adjustmont is
correct, tf not. continue to make small
adjustments as above, chocking for centralisation
each time until the belt Is corectly aligned.
It

not ccntiruo to operate correctly. Any damage to the belt
caused by tne lack of necessary adjustment wil not be
covered by the warranty.
ADJUSTING THE BELT TENSION
The belt must he tensioned if K begins to slip on the rollers
In rormal use, however, keep the belt as loose as possible!
The belt tenson is adjusted by turning tho same screws as
used for aligning the ruining oen

handrails and braking as you walk (as if you were
walking downhill).
NOTE! When braking heavily the belt may slip

MAINTENANCE_
We strongly recommend that a periodic maintenance
schedule is adhered to. However, if you wsh to have the
mantenance earned cut by a trained technician please
contact your local Tunturi dealer for details of service
ave'lahla and charges.
Check from time to time that al fasteners are property
tightened and wiring is in place. To avoid damaging
fasteners, do not overtighten.
