The PC network feature is DLNA certifi ed.
You can use Microsoft Windows XP or Vista, Intel
Mac OSX or Linux on your computer.
To share PC content on your TV, you need
recent media server software on your computer.
A Windows Media Player 11 or similar.
Some media server software needs to be set to
share fi les with the TV.
For the list of supported media server software,
read 7.4 Multimedia.
4.3.3 Wireless installation
The onscreen instructions help you to install the
wireless network.
Switch on your router before you start the
network installation. If your wireless network is
secured, have the encryption key ready to enter
onscreen.
To start the wireless network installation on the
TV, press h > Setup > Installation > Network
> Network installation and press OK. Follow
the onscreen instructions.
Name and security
The TV scans for your network router. Found
routers appear in a list on screen. If several
routers are found, select your router in the list
and press OK.

If the router name is unknown to you or you
do not recognize your router's name, look up
Internet
the SSID (Service Set Identifi er) in the router
software on your PC.
When you have chosen your router, the TV
PC
asks for the encryption key -the security key- to
access the router.
If you have WPA security on your router, enter
Internet
the passphrase with the characters on the
remote control. If you have WEP security, the TV
asks for the WEP encryption key in hexadecimal
numbers. Find this hexadecimal key in the router
PC
software on your PC. Write down the fi rst key
of the WEP keys list and enter it on TV with the
remote control keypad.
If the security key is accepted, the TV is
connected with the wireless router.

4.3.4 Wired installation
The onscreen procedure helps you to install the
wired network.
Connect the router to the TV using a network
cable and switch on the router before you start
the network installation.
To start the wired network installation, press h
> Setup > Installation > Network > Network
installation and press OK.
Follow the instructions on screen.
The TV constantly searches for a network
connection.
If asked for, agree to the End User License
Agreement. Find the latest End User License
Agreement at www.philips.com.
