Alarm/Warning
Description
A
Overload CT's (2 Alternator Output Current Transformers) Output current
measured value is above threshold.
Possible cause: Overload.
Overload (DPE Style Field Current Method)
A
Field Current measured value is above threshold.
Possible cause: overload
A
Ground + Neutral Current is above threshold.
A
When current exceeds 150% of rated current (most likely because of P-P or P-N
short), control PID tries to prevent the unit from stalling by running at 300% rated
current load.
A
If the alarm is cleared and a restart is attempted 5 times or more and the
generator cannot produce proper voltage, it will run for 5 minutes without the
AVR (no output voltage) to allow the unit to try to cool. If it then enables to
produce voltage and cannot, it will start a 1 hour timer which will clear the
overload alarm and counter which begins the 5 starting attempt count once
again if the overload continues OR runs normally if the load has been reduced.
Opening the breaker at the generator access panel or returning the transfer
switch to the utility position will also allow a normal start.
W
Missing / Damaged Fuse
The controller fuse is missing or damaged in such a way that it does not work.
Fuse problem must be detected for 1.5 seconds. Firmware older than V1.30
W
Command and position feedback not matching or taking too much time to
achieve.
Possible causes: governor wire loose, governor module
A
Stuck Open
Command and position feedback not matching or taking too much time to
achieve. Governor in open position for greater than one second.
Possible causes: governor wire loose, governor module
A
Stuck Closed
Command and position feedback not matching or taking too much time to
achieve. Governor in closed position (commanded otherwise) for greater than
one second.
Possible cause: governor wire loose, governor module
A
Ignition Fault
Missing Cam Pulse—Cam pulses missing for five seconds.
