NOTE: All system board spare part kits include replacement thermal material.
All system boards use the following part numbers:
xxxxxx-001: Non-Windows operating systems
xxxxxx-601: Windows 10 operating system

Description
System board with integrated processor:
- Intel Core i7-8565U processor
- Intel Core i5-8265U processor (for use in models with WWAN)
- Intel Core i5-8265U processor
Before removing the system board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly
2. Place the computer in "Battery Safe mode"
3. Remove the following components:
a. Bottom cover
b. Battery
c. Fan
When replacing the system board, be sure to remove the following components (as applicable) from the
defective system board and install on the replacement system board:
● Memory modules
● WLAN/Bluetooth module
● WWAN module
M.2 solid-state drive
●
● Heat sink
Remove the system board:
1. Disconnect the following cables from the system board:
(1): Power connector cable
(2): Antennas from WWAN module (select models only)
(3): Antennas from WLAN module (select models only)
(4): Speaker cable
(5): Display cable (ZIF)
(6): USB cable from USB board (ZIF)
