The RETURN+/TV button has two functions:
Return - Returns tothe channel viewed just b efore the channel currently onscreen.
Return+ -Lets you program aspecific channel toreturn towhile s canning through the
channels using t he CH+ a nd CH-buttons.
TV-Returns tothe TVmode.
RETURN+/TV and hold f orthree s econds
The channel currently active h as been p rogrammed asyour return+ channel. Now scan
through the channels using t he CHANNEL+/-- buttons.

• To cancel your return+ channet, press and hold t he RETURN+ button forthree s econds, The
message "RETURN CHANNEL CANCELLED!" wilt a ppear,
• Return+ works only w ith the Channel+/- buttons. Pressing any number key wilt c ancel
return+.
Note :SMART SOUND (HD-52Z585 and ND-61Z585 ONLY)
Bypressing the SOUND button, you can change the A.H.S. (Advanced Hyper Surround) mode,
BBE, and SMART SOUND onoroff.
A.N.S. -Adds a more s pacious surround sound. Music gives b asic e ffect and movie formore
effect.
BBE -BBE High D efinition Sound restores clarity and presence forbetter speech intelligibility
and musical realism.
SMART SOUND - Decreases high sound levels, giving aregulated sound l evel.

The MUTINGbutton instantly turns the volume down completely when you press it. Press
MUTINGand the volume level will instantly go to zero. To restore the volume to its previous
level, press MUTINGagain.
