usually premium or pay-per-view channels. This hookup will
allow you to record unscrambled channels by selecting "A"
on the A/B switch, and tuning the channel directly on your
(position "A"). You only use position "B" and the cable
box if you want to record a "scrambled" channel. This

VCR. To record "scrambled" channels, select "B" on the A/B
switch, and select the channel using the cable box. If your
cable system scrambies all, or most channels, you must use
the altemate cable hookup (Hookup 4) on page 12.
