TheAVR635 is equipped witha number o f advanced
features thataddextraflexibiIB/to the unit'soperation.
While it is not necessary t o usetheseteatures to
operate theunit.theyprovide additional options that
youmaywishto use.

panel o r remote. Afterthattimetheywillgradually f ade
out.withthe excepSoe o f thelighting surrounding t he
Standby/OnSwitch Ell. whichremains on to remind
youthattheAVRis turned on. Notethatif the displays
havebeenturned completely o ff usingthe Dim
Button. a sshownon page38. theFadefunction will
notoperate.

DisplayBrightness
TheAVR635's front panel d isplays a ndindicators a re

Tochange the display brightness seffingfora specific

Semi-OSDSettings
ThesemiOSDsystem places one linemessages a t
the lowerthirdof the videodisplay screenwhenever
theVolume. I nput S ource. S urround mode. t uner
frequency or anyof the configuraSen settings is
changed. T hesemiOSDsystemis helpful i nthatit
enables youto havefeedback onanycontrol c hanges
or remote commands usingthevideodisplay whenit
isdifficult t o viewthe frontpaneldisplays. However.
you mayalsopleferto turnthesedisplays off perma-
nently. Youmayalsowantto adiustthe length of time
the displays remain on the screen. B othof those
options arepossible withthe AVR635.
