PROTECTION
The chargers are equipped with following safety functions to ensure maximum
safety during the use and operation of the device.
• Full protection against sparks
• Short circuit protection
• Voltage compensation
• Overheat protection
• Reverse polarity protection

MAINTENANCE

When the battery charger is not being used, it must be stored in a dry place to
protect it against humidity. Disconnect the battery charger and use a soft cloth to
clean its outer casing.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

1. This tool is manufactured and tested in accordance with current EU regula-
tions. It is covered by a 12-month warranty for professional use or a 24-month
warranty for nonprofessional use.
2. The warranty provides for free repair or replacement of any parts in case of
manufacturing and material defects acknowledged by the manufacturer.
3. Any problems arising from negligence, misuse or tampering with the appliance
will void the warranty.
Battery with too low voltage. (You
are trying to charge a 12Volt battery
with charger set to 24V).
Battery with too high voltage. (You
are trying to charge a 24Volt battery
with charger set to 12V).
Charger in error.
After a certain period of time the bat-
tery is unable to absorb current.
Battery recovery failed after a full
cycle of desulfation.
The output current is >13.5A on the
DC power supply mode.
Disconnected cables, short circuit
cables.
Battery completely short circuit.

Check the battery voltage.
The battery may be defective. Consult the
nearest Battery Service Center.
Have the charger checked by the nearest
Service Center.
The battery may be defective. Consult the

Remove/turn off excessive load.
Position the clamps correctly and resume
the battery charge; (see paragraph "how
to use the charger»).
