4. Lift the grass catcher off the machine using the
handle and rear frame.

Installing the Grass Catcher

1. Install the grass catcher frame onto the brackets.

3. Ensure that the bottom latch is engaged.

Installing the Mulching Plug

1. Park the machine on a level surface, disengage
the blade-control switch, and engage the parking
brake.
2. Shut off the machine and remove the key.
3. Remove the grass catcher; refer to
the Grass Catcher (page
4. Insert the mulching plug into the discharge
opening until it stops on the bottom of the
discharge chute.

5. Extend the 2 springs to the hooks on the rear
panel.
