• During Easy Handycam
operation,
the settings efthe
lhnctiens
that are net displayed
on the screen return
to their defaults.
Previously
made settings
are
rcstercd when you cancel Ihe Easy Handycam
operation.
Adjusting the
exposure
The exposure is adjusted autonmlically in the
defaull setting.
Touch
[MENU].
The available
menu items are displayed
on
the
screell.
Example: In the CAMERA-MEMORY mode
Touch
the desired
item.
Select
the desired
setting.
For [CLOCK
SET]

Set [Y] (year) with [_/[_:_,
then touch

Set [M] (month),
[D] (day), hour and
minutes in the same way as [Y] (year),
then touch [_.
For [LANGUAGE]
Select the desired language
with [_/[_,
then touch [_.

mode only)
Touch ION], then [_.
Press PHOTO rally.
You will hear a beep sound counting
down

the image is recorded on

Stick."
When your subject
has its back to the sun or
other light, you can adjust the exposure
to
prevent
the subject
from becoming
shadowed.
BACK LIGHT
Press
BACK
LIGHT
during
recording
or
in the standby
mode.
[] appears.
To cancel the back light function, press BACK
LIGHT again.
1) Note
• The back light flmctien is canceled when you set
[EXPOSURE] to [MANUAL] (p. 38) er select
[SPOT METER] (p. 38).
