Step 1: Connect Speakers and Microphones
Pinouts: 15 pin D Connector
pin 1: speaker 1+
pin 2: speaker 2+
pin 3: speaker 3+
pin 4: speaker 4+
pin 5: no connection
pin 6: mic 1ground
pin 7: mic 1-
pin 8: mic 1+
Step 2: Connection of Codec
Connect the LINE OUT A of the SM-02 to the MIC INPUT of the codec with the cable provided by
CTG.
Connect the LINE IN A of SM-02 to the LINE OUTPUT of the codec.
Connect POWER to the SM-02.
Echo cancellation should be enabled in the codec.
Step 3: Adjust the Send Level
With a screwdriver turn the SM-02 MIC ADJUST clockwise to the 10 o'clock position. If needed,
call a CTG technician to fine-tune the system levels.
Microphone muting should be performed through MediaConnect's on screen menus.
Step 4: Adjust the Receive Level
Set the SPEAKER VOLUME level on the SM-02 to the 2 o'clock position.
Use MediaConnect's on screen menus to raise or lower the incoming audio.
