Connecting the Premier Telephone Interface

What's in the Box

The Premier telephone interface consists of the following components:
•
(1) Premier telephone
•
(1) Premier Satellite interface (junction box)
•
(1) Power cord
•
(1) RCA phono plug to RJ9
•
(1) RCA phono plug to RCA phono plug
•
(1) RJ-11 telephone cable
•
(1) Remote (optional)

Installation

STEP 1
The modified Satellite (junction box) is designed to connect to the B set of connections
on the SM-02. Connect the components in the following order:
1. The Premier telephone connects to the Satellite
2. LINE OUT B on the SM-02 connects to a MIC jack on the Satellite
3. LINE IN B on the SM-02 connects to the AUD I/O jack on the Satellite
4. An analog telephone line connects to the TEL LINE jack
5. A telephone may be connected to the
6. Connect power to the Satellite
PREMIER
The Premier will sound two tones through the ceiling speakers and the Premier telephone.
If both tones are not heard contact CTG technical support.
STEP 2
Press the ON / OFF button on the Premier telephone for dial tone. While off hook, press
the SHIFT key followed by the VOL + key five times. This will shift the incoming audio
from the Premier's speaker to the ceiling speakers.
