Installing the Battery
Install the battery as shown in
Figure 63

Servicing the Fuses

The electrical system is protected by fuses. It
requires no maintenance. If a fuse blows, check the
component or circuit for a malfunction or short.
1.
Park the machine on a level surface, disengage
the PTO, and engage the parking brake.
2.
Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait
for all moving parts to stop before leaving the
operating position.
3.
Release the operator cushion from the rear of
the machine.
4.
If you need to access the charge fuse, remove
the fuel tank; refer to
(page
39).
5.
Pull out the fuse and replace it
1. Key switch fuse (15 A)
2. Accessory port (15 A)
3. Power-takeoff (PTO) fuse
(10 A)

Install the fuel tank, if removed; refer to
Removing the Fuel Tank (page

Install the operator cushion.
