1. The Link/ACT LED indicator lights green for

connecting to 100Mbps speed. The LED lights

amber for connecting to 10Mbps speed.

2. The FDX/COL LED indicator lights green for

full-duplex connection. The LED remains off

for half-duplex connection.

Port Speed & Duplex Mode

After plugging the cable to a specific port, the system

uses auto-negotiation to determine the transmission

mode:

If the attached device does not support auto-

negotiation or has auto-negotiation disabled, an

auto-sensing process is initiated to select the proper

connection speed and the duplex -mode is set to half-

duplex.
