The device is not switched
on .
The volume is set to mini-

In AUX IN mode, the exter-
nal playback device is not
turned on .

Remedy
Switch on the device by pressing the
button .

Increase the playback volume with the
VOLUME | ENTER / SCAN
dial .

Switch on the external playback
device .
Unmute the external playback device .
Make sure the audio cable is correctly
connected to the AUX IN socket
Pull out the telescopic aerial
completely . Try to improve reception
by moving the telescopic aerial
or by moving the radio to another
location .
