3.6.3. Marking the Tee

1. Short press Enter to choose the Start Round function.
The message "
WAIT
active and has a fix. Then the Mark Tee 1 prompt,
name and par of the course are displayed.
2. Walk to the tee and short press Enter to access the
Set menu. Mark Tee is displayed in reversed color.
3. Short press Enter to mark the tee. If you do not change
the suggested tee number in 10 seconds, the tee is
accepted and Suunto G9 begins displaying the dis-
tance to the green.
NOTE: As a default, Suunto G9 assumes that the game
starts at the first hole. If you want to start at a different
hole, select the desired hole number with the arrow
buttons while the
TEE FOR HOLE 1 MARKED

3.6.4. Marking the Ball

The Mark Ball function records the current location of
the ball. Then Suunto G9 begins showing the distance
information from the tee and the flag.
To mark the position of the ball:
1. Walk to the location of the ball.
2. In the Set menu, scroll to Mark Ball and press Enter .
The position of the ball has now been recorded.
NOTE: After you have selected Mark Ball, Suunto G9
displays the shot length for 5 seconds.
