2.6 Unified Firmware Platform Features

The UFP has been designed for advanced functionality, high-reliability, and ease of
operation. The UFP enables digital-business communications, such as imaging
technology, cloud connectivity, and mobile solutions to work together.
The UFP V3.13 features include:
• New Security Enhancements
o WPA3 Support
o Two-Factor Identification using IC Card/PIN
o Initial Password Change
• FIPS 140.3 Storage Encryption – Meets FIPS validation requirement of federal
procurement agencies for Internet of Things products. Strengthens data encryption
using AES-XTS 256.
