 DT+ANI – DTMF tone is heard when in transmission mode the PTT-ID transmission button was
pressed or the PTT-ID was automatically transmitted.
SC-REV
The SC-REV function allows you to set the behavior of the device when it encounters a transmission
during scanning. The SC-REV function has 3 values:
 TO – stop scanning on each detected transmission for 5 seconds (or other defined time) and
then resume scanning,
 CO – stop scanning until the detected transmission is completed (until the active signal disap-
pears),
 SE – stop scanning and remain on the given frequency until an active signal is detected.
PTT-ID
The PTT-ID function allows the transmission of an identifying ID when the PTT button is pressed or re-
leased. The PTT-ID function has 4 values:
 OFF – no transmission of the identifying ID,
 BOT – transmission of the identifying ID when the PTT button is pressed (the ID must be set
using a computer),
 EOT – transmission of the identifying ID when the PTT button is released,
 BOTH – transmission of the identifying ID after pressing as well as releasing the PTT button.
BCL (busy channel lockout)
The BCL function prevents users from starting to transmit when the selected channel is busy. This
eliminates interference with user communications from a busy channel. To activate the BCL function,
select ON in the menu.
SFT-D (direction of frequency shift)
SFT-D allows you to make changes in the direction of the frequency shift between the reception fre-
quency and the transmission frequency to the signal repeater.
OFFSET (frequency shift value).
When operating an repeater, set the frequency offset value in a manner that the transmission frequency
is lower or higher than the reception frequency. The value of the OFFSET parameter is entered using
the numeric keypad. Available values are in the range of 00.000 - 69.990.
STE
The STE function is used to enable or disable the transmission end signal in shortwave radio commu-
nication. Do not use the STE function when operating a repeater.
