3. Keypad:
 MENU button:
o press to enter the shortwave radio menu and confirm the selected setting,
o press and hold the MENU button, turn on the device – the device will enter the channel
mode and frequency mode.
 ▲/▼ buttons:
o press and hold one of the buttons to start a quick scan of the frequencies,
o press one of the buttons to reverse the frequency scan.
 EXIT/AB button:
o cancel, clear, exit,
o standby mode – switching between channels A and B,
o FM radio mode – switching FM radio band 65-75 / 76-108 MHz.
 numeric buttons 0-9:
o data entry when programming lists in FM radio mode and custom CTCSS scanning,
o transmission mode – pressing a numeric button sends a signal code (can only be set via
a computer).
4. Power / volume control knob:
 turn clockwise – turning the device on/increasing the volume;
 counterclockwise rotation – turning the device off/decreasing the volume.
5. Flashlight.
6. Speaker.
7. Microphone.
8. Battery latch.
9. PTT-A button – transmitting on a single channel when dual standby mode is active.
10. PTT-B button – transmitting on multiple channels – channel selection is done with the ▲/▼ buttons
in standby mode.
11. F button:
 press the button to turn on/off the FM radio,
 press and hold the button to turn on the alarm function – press and hold again to turn off the
alarm function.
12. M button:
 press the button to turn on the flashlight – press again to turn off the flashlight,
 press and hold the button to turn on signal monitoring – press and hold again to turn off signal
monitoring,
 copying – connect two, switched-off shortwave radios with a special cable (not included), press
and hold the M button (or numeric key 2 or 3) on the source device, turn on the devices – the
copying process has started (the inscription "COPYING" on the LCD display).
