Procedure – Installation (Top Case)
NOTE: Any component with damaged snaps must be replaced.
1. Align Top Case
Align the Top Case with the D-pad and thumb stick openings. While holding the two pieces
together, flip the device.
2. Secure Screws
Using a TR8 (Torx Security) screwdriver, install the 5 screws securing the back case to the
top case and mid-frame. Turn each screw until finger tight, then turn another 1/8 turn (45-
degrees), or until fully fastened.
3. Install Side Caps
Taking either the left or right-side cap, place and press down to snap the part in place.
Work around the entire edge of the controller to ensure all snaps are seated. Repeat the
process for the opposite side cap.
