Procedure – Removal (Top Case)
NOTE: Any component with damaged snaps must be replaced.
1. Remove Battery Cover
Turn the controller on its front and slightly press on the eject symbol at the base of the
door while pulling up on the door. Door should slide out.
NOTE: Any component with damaged snaps must be replaced.
2. Remove Side Caps
Slide a plastic pry tool into the seam between the controller and the side cap. Work around
the seam to disconnect the plastic snaps from the device. Repeat the process for the other
side cap.
NOTE: Only direct the plastic pry tool away from your hands to prevent slipping
and hurting yourself.
