Sending and Receiving E-mail
You can use the phone's built-in modem and a computer to send or receive
e-mail.
To send an e-mail
1. In the Dial-Up Networking service on your computer, choose the Ericsson
R320 as the modem you wish to use.
2. Place your mobile phone next to your computer and make sure it is
connected properly, i.e. within 1 metre and 30 degrees of the other infrared
eye.
3. Start your e-mail program and write a message.
4. Send your e-mail message.
Receiving an e-mail
1. In the Dial-Up Networking service on your computer, choose the Ericsson
R320 as the modem you wish to use.
2. Place your mobile phone next to your computer and make sure it is
connected properly.
3. Start your e-mail program and open your inbox to read your new e-mail
messages.
