Che c king the blade guard
WARNING! Always check that the guar d

is correctly fitted before starting the
machine. Check that the cutting blade is
fitted correctly and does not show signs
of damage. A damaged cutting blade can
cause personal injury. See instr uctions
under the heading Assembly.
Check that the guard is c omplete and without any
c racks or deformat ions.
Vibration damping system
WARNING! Ov erexposur e to vibration

can lead to circulator y damage or nerve
damage i n peopl e wh o have impaired
circulation. Contact your doctor if you
experi ence symptoms of overexposure
to v ibrati on. Such symptoms include
numbness, loss of feeling, tingling,
pr icking, pain, loss of strength, changes
in skin colour or condition. These
symptoms nor mally appear in the
fingers, hands or wrists. These
symptoms may be increased in cold
te mperatur es.
Your mac hine is equipped with a vibration damping
s ystem that is designed to minimize vibration and
make operation easier.
The machine ' s vibration damping system reduces the
t ransfer of vibration between t he engine unit/cut ting
equipment and the machine 's handle unit.
Che cking the vibration damping system
WARNING! The motor must be off and the

connector unplugged from the power
unit.
Check the v ibration damping units regularly fo r cracks
or deformation. Replac e them if damaged.
Check that the vibration damping element is securely
attached between the engine unit a nd handle unit.
