Power tool use and care
Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power
tool for your appli cation. The c orrect power tool will
do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was
designed.
Do not use the power tool if the switch does not
turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be
c ontrolled with the switch is dangerous and must be
repaired.
Store idle power tools out of the r each of children
and do not allow per sons unfami liar with the
power tool or these instructions to operate the
power tool . Power tools are dangerous in the hands
of untrained users.
Mai ntain power tools. Check for mi salignment or
bindin g of moving parts, breakage of parts and
any other condition that may affect the power
tool´s ope ration. I f damaged, have the power tool
r epair ed before use. Many accidents are c aused by
poorly maintained power tools.
Keep cutting to ols sha rp and clean. Properly
maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are
le ss likely t o bind and are easier to control.
Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc.

account the working conditions and the work to
be performed. U se of the power tool f or operations
different from those intended c ould result in a
hazardous situation.

parts. Unauthoriz ed modifications and/or
accessor ies may lead to seriou s injury or
death to the user or others.
Make sure that no pipes or elect rical c ables are routed
in t he working area or in the material to be cut.
Always check and mark out where gas pipes are
routed. Cutting c lose t o gas pipes alway s entails
danger. Make sure that sparks are not caused when
c utting in v iew of the risk of explosion. Remain
c oncentrated and f ocused on the task. Carelessness
c an result in serious personal injury or death.
The guard for the cutting equipment must always be
on when the machine is running.
Service
Have your power tool serviced by a qual ified
r epair person using only identical replacement
par ts. This will ensure t hat the safety of the power tool
is maintained.
Always use common sense
I t is not possible to cover ev ery conc eivable situation y ou
c an face. Always exercise care and us e yo ur common
s ense. If you get into a situation where you feel unsafe,
s top and seek ex pert advice. Contact your dealer, service
agent or an ex perienced user. Do not attempt any task
t hat you feel unsure o f!
OPERATING

Basic working techniques

The machine is designed and intended for cut ting with abrasive
blades or diamond blades intended for high speed handheld
mac hines. The mac hine shall not be used with any other type of
blade, or for any ot her type of cutting.
Check that the cutting blade is fitted correctly and does
not show signs of damage. See the instr uctions in th e
sec tions "Cuttin g blades" and "Ass embly and settings".
Check that the co rrect c utting blade is use d for t he
applicatio n in question. See instruc tions in the section
"Cutting blades".
Never cut asbestos materials!
Hold t he saw with both hands; keep a firm grip wit h
thumbs and fingers encircling the handles. The right
hand s hould be on t he rear handle and the left hand
on the front handle. All operators, weather right or left
handed s hall use this grip. Never operate a power
cutter holding it with only one hand.
Stand parallel to the cutting blade. Av oid s tanding
st raight behind. In the event of a k ick back the s aw will
move in the plane of the cut ting blade.
Maintain a safe dis tance from the cut ting blade when
the engine is running.
Never leave the machine unsuperv ised with the motor running.
Never move the mac hine when the c utt ing equipment
is ro tating.
WARNING! Do not pull the po wer cutter
to one side, thi s can cause the blade to
jam or break resulting in injury to people.
Under all circumstances avoid grinding
using the side of the blade; it wi ll almost
certainl y be damaged, break and can
cause immense damage. Only use the
cutting secti on.
Cutti ng plas tics with a diamond blade
can cause kickback when the material
melts due to the heat produced when
cutting and sticks to the blade. Never cut
plastic materials with a diamond blade!
Cutti ng metal generates sparks that may
cause fire. Do no t use the machine near
ignita ble substances or gases.
