Description
System board with processor for use in models with UMA graphics:
Intel Core i7-7500U processor
Intel Core i5-7300U processor
Intel Core i5-7200U processor (WWAN models)

Intel Core i3-7100U processor (WWAN models)
Intel Core i3-7100U processor
System board with processor for use in models with 2 GB of discrete graphics:
Intel Core i7-7500U processor
Intel Core i5-7300U processor
Intel Core i3-7100U processor
Before removing the system board, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and
then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4.
Remove the following components:

Keyboard (see
d.
Top cover (see
e.
Battery (see
When replacing the system board, be sure to remove the following components (as applicable) from the
defective system board and install on the replacement system board:
