WebOS22 New Feature: Always Ready FAQ
Q1. How much electricity does my TV
consume in Background Mode or Standby
Mode?
Q2. Are there any required formats for
image file size and extensions?
Q3. Is it possible to change the settings for
the standby mode time?
Q4. On the standby mode, the screen is too
bright at night
1) Wallpaper mode: It is difficult to give you the exact number because it depends on each TV inch and
each wallpaper mode functions.
When setting up the art gallery wallpaper, the power consumption is similar to when you watch TV. When
setting up other functions such as clock/music, it consumes less power than watching TV.
2) Standby mode: It consumes 5W power. (※For OLED C Series: 10W)
At least 16 photos need to be registered, and they are displayed in order. There is no capacity limit and
any photos that are displayed normally on TVs/mobile devices can be set. ※ For transferring mobile
photos using the ThinQ app only works for Android. (It will be available for Apple after updating MR)
Standby Mode Time-Off: Set 30 minutes
as default
→ Can change to 60 minutes / 120
minutes
※ For G2 model, it switches on/off by
motion sensor
