  • Page 40 You can wirelessly connect up to 4 AMBEO Subs to the Soundbar. You can set up and manage the wireless connections of all AMBEO subs via the Sennheiser Smart Control app (see page 64). To do so, the Smart Control app must be installed on your smartphone and connected to the Soundbar.
  • Page 41 Disconnecting the subwoofer As long as the subwoofer is connected to the Soundbar, you can deactivate it in the Sennheiser Smart Control app. In doing so, you can prevent a subwoofer from being used during audio playback without having to disconnect the subwoofer from the Soundbar (see page 65).

    Installing the Sennheiser Smart Control To be able to control the Soundbar using a smartphone, the Sound- bar and the smartphone on which you install the Sennheiser Smart Control app must be connected to the same WiFi network. To make full use of all the settings and functions of the AMBEO Soundbar, you have to have the free Sennheiser Smart Control app installed on your smartphone.
  • Page 45 Establishing the initial connection between the Sennheiser Smart Control app and the Soundbar The initial connection between the Sennheiser Smart Control app and the Soundbar is established via Bluetooth Low Energy. For this, Bluetooth must be activated on your smartphone.

    You can update the firmware of the Soundbar and the AMBEO Sub(s) using a USB flash drive or via the Internet using the Sennheiser Smart Control app. Update via the Sennheiser Smart Control app To update the firmware via the Smart Control app, the Soundbar must be connected to the Internet via WiFi or Ethernet (see page 58).
