Audacity
Quick Start Guide
Audacity is a free and easy-to-use DAW that is excellent for beginners and for simple
recording projects. Audacity is suited to single-track recording, meaning, only one
input can be recorded at a time.
1. Open Focusrite Control
Select your monitor outputs
(headphones or speakers), and
make sure that the outputs you
select are unmuted.
The audio setup pictured above is for monitoring from Headphone 1 which
is listening to Input 1 on the audio interface. Speaker monitors are muted.
From Output Routing, choose Software (DAW)
Playback and select the same channels you are
using on the audio interface. Add channels by
clicking on the +
