    This and any other included instructions must be made available to the user of the equipment. The user must understand how to safely and effectively use the Truss Boss Anchor, and all fall safety equipment used in combination with the Truss Boss Anchor.

    Maximum 1 attachment per connection point. Personal Fall Arrest: Truss Boss Anchor may be used to support a MAXIMUM 1 Personal Fall Arrest System (PFAS) for use in Fall Arrest applications. Structure must withstand loads applied in the directions permitted by the system of at least 5,000 lbs.
  • Page 4 All connections must be selected and deemed compatible with Truss Boss Anchor by a Competent Person. All connector gates must be self-closing and self-locking, and withstand minimum loads of 3,600 lbs.

    Installation and Use Prior to installation, plan your system: 1. Ensure all PFAS equipment is selected and deemed compatible with Truss Boss Anchor by a Competent Person. 2. Select mounting location for Truss Boss Anchor. Selected mounting location must be compatible roof truss, rafter, or other structural member, and must withstand minimum loads as specified by this instruction manual.

    Truss Boss Anchor before and after each use. If Truss Boss Anchor cannot be cleaned with plain water, use mild soap and water, then rinse and wipe dry. NEVER clean Truss Boss Anchor with corrosive substances.

    This inspection log must be specific to one Truss Boss Anchor. Separate inspection logs If equipment fails inspection must be used for each Truss Boss Anchor. IMMEDIATELY REMOVE FROM SERVICE. All inspection records must be made visible and available to all users at all times.

    Materials: Zinc-plated steel. Capacity Range: 130-420 lbs. (including all equipment). All PFAS equipment must be selected and deemed compatible with Truss Boss Anchor by Competent Person. Only make compatible connections. Refer to instructions for proper connection methods. WARNING MAXIMUM 1 connection per anchor.
