7. Test both the loose strap and emergency lowering end
stop strap functions. Refer, respectively, to chapters
7.3 Checking Loose Strap Function, page 22 and7.4
Checking Emergency Lowering End Stop Strap Function,
page 22. These tests can be carried out with the hoist
remaining on the table.
8. If the fault is rectified, re-assemble the hoist and reset
the emergency stop.
